Our tooling department has 70 expert tool makers who can fabricate a wide variety of products. They make use of our latest Computerized Numeral Code (CNC) high speed work stations, Electro Discharge Machine(EDM) stations, milling machines, lathes, grinders and drilling machines for making molds. There are many benefits when your products are developed and manufactured on our high speed CNC Workstation. This system offers shortened lead times for tooling, greater precision in tooling accuracy, the ability to develop more complex product profiles and management of unlimited calibration data with the TS triggering touch probes. This offers our customers a competitive advantage faster turnaround of higher quality, more sophisticated products.
Assembly Lines
At Lomak, we have more than 1,200 workers and twenty four assembly lines include 13 conventional assembly lines and 11 lean assembly lines. These assembly lines follow the stringent guidelines of ISO9001 which our company has been certified ever since 1996 and has the capacity to assemble large quantities of finished goods on demand.
Quality Assurance Department
Quality assurance and certification approvals also play an integral role in our manufacturing process. As an ISO9001 2000 certified manufacturer, we adhere to exacting standards in strategic planning, gap analysis, corrective action, document structure and record control. We stand behind the quality of our products and perform a complete range of product testing in both our EA/QA and ANSI labs. You might even say that we test our products to an extreme, such as switching a single product on and off several thousand times to ensure its durability.
Automatic Injection
Our tooling department has 42 units of plastic injection moulding machines including 2 units of multimillion dollar, double injection molding machines make it possible for us to effectively combine two such different materials as plastic and metal in our manufacturing process. With increased production yield and quality, less manual assembly and simplified construction, we can produce visually appealing, leading edge products more cost effectively. That means more on your bottom line. Our customers do benefit from the sheer scale of our plastic injection and our drive towards continuous product and improvement.
